What are your responsibilities at Dubow?
I’m a Level 3 Operator, and I’ve been in the Heat Transfer department for more than six years. My responsibilities are really varied: I work on printing and prepping the art, as well as operating the DTFx machine. I also stage and prep garments for other operators. Whatever I’m doing, I try to stay busy and make sure the quality is 100% for our customers!
Why did you decide to join Dubow?
I was intrigued about the opportunities to explore a different role in my career path. I was in retail for four years, and I wanted a change of pace.
What keeps you interested in the work?
Every day is something new, so I’ve been able to explore and learn multiple departments, like hardgoods, receiving, digital, etc. Our new DTFx machine is pretty interesting because the machine really takes care of the printing and gluing and drying, and all I have to do is cut it. It’s a great new option for our customers.
Overall, I enjoy learning new roles, proving myself, and earning the opportunity to build my career. I enjoy the challenge.
What would you tell someone interested in working at Dubow?
I’d say that it doesn’t matter what career path you’re on, you can build a career here in a factory setting. We have an awesome team and I’m proud to be part of it.
Tell us about your life outside of work.
I absolutely love spending time with family and friends, especially when the weather is nice! My energetic, loveable dog is the best. His name is Miko and he’s a mix English Springer Spaniel/black lab. I play fetch with him until my arm gives out.
