What are your responsibilities at Dubow?
I’m on the floor working in the Heat Transfer, Hardgoods and Digital Print departments. I help problem solve and ensure quality products. It’s a lot of work but I like to move, and it gives me the opportunity to work in different areas, like learning the new DTFx machine . I get to spread my horizons!
This week, for example, I’ve been staging products for the Heat Transfer department. I check in with the other departments and make sure they’re doing ok and they have what they need for the orders. I’ve been working a lot because there’s been so much business and a lot of big orders.
Why did you decide to join Dubow?
I heard about their job openings on the radio while I was working at a nonprofit with my grandma. When she passed away, I just wanted a change. So I ended up here and it was the best decision I made. I love this company! The people are amazing, the benefits are amazing and the management is really nice.
What keeps you interested in your work?
I like that I get to run around and help make this company better by helping and coaching people.
I really love everyone on my team and I have great staff. I’m especially proud of the Heat Transfer team recently because they’ve had a lot of orders and they’ve worked really, really, really hard to get everything out on time. We put in a lot of hours and no one complained.
Tell us about your life outside of work.
I really like to be outdoors; camping is big for me during the summer, along with four-wheeling. I have two cats named Smoky and Jazzy. One’s shy and fat, and one’s skinny and mean. They get along with each other and I love them, but sometimes they don’t love other people!
